Our story

It started with a "2 for $99" coupon.

And a doctor who refused to be marketed like one.

In 2017 I started dating the woman who would become my wife, Dr. Kaitlyn Kelley. As she built her career as an optometrist and private practice owner, I saw the tension she lived with every day.

She had spent a decade mastering the visual system. But when we talked about marketing her practice, she hesitated. To her, and to most doctors, marketing meant the race-to-the-bottom ads she saw everywhere: two pairs of glasses for $99 and a free eye exam.

That isn't marketing. It's devaluation. Inside the exam room she was the authority. Online, she was being flattened into a commodity.

I built Optofy to close that gap: marketing that speaks for a doctor's expertise, built only for independent practices.

Marketing should be advocacy. When a patient is struggling, the most qualified doctor should be the easiest one to find. That's how you compete on expertise.

What we believe

Four promises we make every practice.

Independent only

We don't work for private equity groups or retail chains. Every practice we market is doctor-owned.

One practice per territory

For each specialty, we partner with one practice in a 3-mile radius. We won't sell your playbook to the practice down the street.

Real numbers only

We report what Meta and Google report. No invented ROI, no guarantees, no vanity metrics.

Month-to-month

No long contracts. If we're not adding value, you can leave. We'd rather earn the next month.
